You're lucky your ficus flourished. They're usually pretty fickle.
My plant is a peace lily (spathiphyllum). They're very low maintenance. This one used to flower when I first got it, but it outgrew its pot and was stressed. I'm hoping once it gets over the transplant I'll see blooms again.

What kind of plant is that? Someone once gave me a ficus and in a year I was sharing my apartment with a tree.
