Living in Florida, those pictures are from by distant past, thank goodness.

I've been seeing lots of these! What a winter for the mid-Atlantic.
BTW I loved your story. It was hilarious, but I couldn't post a comment there. You are a wonderful writer!

I hope to get back to participating soon. I am so inundated with school stuff this year.

Holy moley, Lulu!
Move somewhere temperate, for Pete's sake!

Isn't it amazing how icicles angle themselves? Weird. Yesterday, I was nearly killed by a giant one I was trying to knock off the gutters.

It makes me miss New England winters; the old sea-houses didn't have gutters and always left beautiful icicles.

So, this is a little exotic for you, huh? You will indulge Utah by letting me have a little chuckle at you Southerners.

My partner would be hyperventilating over this. She can barely drive by homes with icicles like that without stopping to warn the tenants about ice dams and how they can damage your gutters and home. She doesn't give ice a chance at our house. It is gone before it can even get interesting.

This is just gorgeous. Where I live we never had nothing even close to that, it must be wonderful to see it and for those who could, aprecciate it :)
